Ingredients for 4 people
- 2 cups red currants
- 1 cup of blueberries
- 1 orange
- 1 lemon
- 1 apple
- half a cup of hot filtered water
- 1 tablespoon coconut sugar
- 3 cloves
- 3 g black pepper
- 1 star anise
- 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 bay leaf
Preparation
- Grind all the spices together with the bay leaf and vanilla in a coffee grinder.
- Add the hot water and let it infuse for 12 hours together with the lemon and orange peels. Once the infusion is ready, extract the juice from the berries, the lemon and the orange.
- Add the water to infuse the spices through a fine mesh strainer.
- Add the coconut sugar and stir well before serving.
- You can serve it with small pieces of orange and some currants and blueberries, or garnish it with the orange peel to taste and a cinnamon stick.
